Viktor Janoštín

Viktor Janoštín began his violin studies at the Prague Conservatoire and is furthering them at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the guidance of Pavel Kudelásek. His greatest successes have included the title of laureate at violin course led by Prof. Jindřich Pazdera, where he appeared with the Žilina State Chamber Orchestra as a soloist. With a violin quartet, he was the winner of the Talents for Europe competition. He is now playing in the Czech Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and takes part in the educational programmes of the Czech Philharmonic. While studying, he is also researching the interconnections between classical music and folk music.
