Steps to the New World

Our concerts with the Czech Philharmonic Youth Orchestra tend to be voyages of discovery. We often attempt (figuratively) to get inside composers’ heads to see how they thought when writing a particular work, or we look for the important crossroads that were decisive for the form a work would take. But above all, we discover the music itself.

We offer subscriptions and tickets to individual concerts.

The following concert dates are reserved for those interested in subscriptions:
Dvořák's English Symphony from the Village Vysoká: 6 Nov. 2024, 8 Nov. 2024
The Four Seasons from Venice and Buenos Aires: 11 Dec. 2024, 13 Dec. 2024
Pictures at an Exhibition: 19 Mar. 2025, 20 Mar. 2025

The concert dates listed above can be combined freely.

Invidivudal (non-subscription) tickets can be ordered only to the following concerts:
Dvořák's English Symphony from the Village Vysoká: 4 Nov. 2024
The Four Seasons from Venice and Buenos Aires: 12 Dec. 2024
Pictures at an Exhibition: 21 Mar. 2025

One teacher can order a maximum of 60 subscriptions or individual tickets for a maximum of 60 pupils/students to a maximum of two concerts.

The programme is based on a musical part but also on a spoken word that will be given in Czech language only. The programme will not be supplied with English subtitles.
